Katie Whitford was born in London in 1995. She studied Fine Art at Goldsmiths, graduating in 2017. Her work focuses on the quiet private and public spaces around her, distilling moments of curiosity and luminosity from the habitual and banal. Through playing with drawing, collage and printmaking she explores the impact of place, looking closely at the relationships between the objects that activate it. In 2018, she was offered a full scholarship on The Drawing Year at The Royal Drawing School, London.
